A Winner and a Spring Center piece

Secondly, I am finally feeling like a normal human being again. The morning sickness has been gone for several weeks, but my energy tank was still running on empty. Then yesterday I felt like I might actually be able to do a little crafting, so I headed to the fabric store only to be disappointed that they didn't have enough of one of my needed supplies. I mean, how many people actually need chartreuse hem tape? Anyway, I did as much as I could and today I am on the hunt to find some more.

I wanted to give you a little sneak peak of my project though because I think it is going to turn out really great. At least in my head it is.

Here is one other quick spring idea for you though. I made these a couple years ago for a church activity and I still love to pull them out around Easter. I was hoping to put them on my entry way table, but the shiny sparkly pull of them is just too much for the little fingers in my house. So instead I opted for on top of the piano.

There's really not a lot of explaining to be done here. Paper Mache eggs, found at any craft store, Glue and Martha Stewart glitter. And if you don't use Martha Stewart glitter they won't be the same. I promise.


Fun and easy and sparkly. And who couldn't use a little sparkle in their lives!
