Halloween Decor

Would you like to take a tour of my Halloween Decorations? You know, since you have nothing else going on right now. Yes? OK. I promise it will be fast.

 

This is the wreath a made a few days ago.

 

I wasn't planning on making a Halloween wreath, but I saw this cute little broom in the dollar section at Target and decided I could throw together something fast and cheap.

And cheap and fast it was. All I did was take apart an existing wreath that was long over due to be tossed out.

Spray paint it black, wrap spider web stuff around it, hot glue on the broom and a few spiders and then hang it with some cute ribbon. I didn't add up the cost, but I'm sure it was less than $10.

What?

I know. I'm like the Halloween Grinch this year. I have a tub of decorations (mostly cheap stuff from the dollar store) but I just didn't have it in me to drag it out, and the kids never asked so I just let it go. I even store bought all of their costumes!

Instead of feeling bad about it though, I like to pretend that I'm just gearing myself up to be super fun crafty baking mom at Christmas time!

 

 

 

It's all about the glitter

Have you ever used Martha Stewart's glitter? You will never use regular glitter again! I promise!

There really isn't much explaining to do with these. I brushed on some glue with a paint brush and shook on the glitter. I didn't do a very good job of shaking off the excess though.

Sadly these four little pumpkins are my only Halloween decorations this year, but I LOVE THEM!

One quick note. I used real pumpkins, but if you want to be able to store these and bring them out next year, I wouldn't suggest that. I'm sure plastic ones would look just as good.
