Spring Wreath

I bought this barn star a couple of months ago hoping to display it on my bookcase. When I got home I found out it was too big. I was planning on returning it as soon as I could. Lucky for me only days later my mother-in-law (do I talk about her too much?) gave me a magazine that had a bunch of spring and easter decorations in it and I saw this really cute barn star turned wreath. I thought "hey, I can do that" and I set to work.

I would have taken step by step pictures for you but seriously all I did was glue. I bought my "egg" garland, a faux greenery bunch and faux berries, a butterfly and I went to work with my hot glue gun. After I had everything in place I strategically placed my butterfly to cover up the area where everything had been glued.

If I could do it over again I would have painted my star white and then distressed it. But I'm still happy with how it turned out. It will double as an Easter and Spring wreath.

That turned out so cute! I think yours is better than the one from the magazine!
