Ava's Chair

A few weeks ago Ava's Great Grandma bought her this little rocking chair at a garage sale. Ava immediately fell in love with it and so did I. But I couldn't help but imagine how much cuter it would be with a little paint. So here is the before and after. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

    Hmm...we just got one of these too as a hand me down but I hadn't thought of painting it. Did you just paint right over the wood?

    I sanded it first. Then primed it before I painted it. And then I finsihed it with a spray on sealer.
